    VILLA IN LIBERTY STYLE

    Brescia, IT, 2014
The villa in liberty style dating back to the first decades of the 1900, is located in the north-west of the city, in an area between the hill of Sant'Anna and the river Mella, a most recent city area, and it will be the subject of complete and restructuring works. The apartment is composed by two floors above ground and a basement, and inserted in a small lot with garden which is directly accessible from the main street. The distinctive characteristics of this art nouveau villa will be kept and enhanced. They are represented especially by arched openings punctuated by tripartite window systems with columns with central circular or triangular tympanum, from large natural stone window sills, from balustrades with floral motif and the handling of volumes achieved through the combination of the stairwell volume with garage and terrace above the entry porch with arches supported by columns. Inside the house there will be no total distortion but a well-calibrated spaces redistribution, obtaining a living area on the ground floor, complete with a veranda, while on the first floor, where it will be placed the sleeping area, will be inserted a loft within a bedroom, in order to be able to use the double height obtained after the re-roofing in wood. In the basement will be placed a modern bathroom complete with all the health care and relax area. Finishing of the entire house has been carefully designed to reflect both the taste of the owners and the villa style: floors and wooden doors and windows, natural stone flooring, Italian marble for floors and coverings, systems primary designed for maximum comfort.
